Works with the Director to provide teacher support and development for Career Technology Education (CTE) programs and initiatives. The primary responsibility for this position will be the oversight and management of grants in support of CTE programs, including the purchasing of CTE equipment, inventory management, and data tracking. The manager serves in a multifaceted capacity to provide professional and technical assistance to schools and district staff. This is a grant funded position where continuation is contingent upon available funding.

Essential Functions
  • Provides specialized budgetary and academic support services in the areas of CTE.
  • Responsible for management, oversight, and reporting of federal grants.
  • Supports CTE teachers in the use of diagnostic, formative, and daily assessment tools and using data to inform instructional needs.
  • Supports the College and Career Readiness office in conducting data analyses related to student success in CTE coursework and their career preparedness.
  • Provides assistance and support to CTE teachers to build content knowledge, teacher pedagogy, and classroom management skills.
  • Supports and coordinates with schools and partners to provide extended learning opportunities for students inclusive of work based learning, clinical rounds, apprenticeships, and internships.
  • Works with schools and CTE staff to develop Technology inventory and equipment tracking process.
  • Serves as the Perkins Grant Manager and is responsible for the purchasing, distribution, and tracking of CTE equipment.
  • Performs and promotes all activities in compliance with equal employment and non-discrimination policies; follows federal laws, state laws, school board policies and the professional standards.


Maximum Salary 94500.00
Minimum Salary 84000.00
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor?s degree in education or a related field from an accredited college or university (Master?s degree preferred).
  • Two years? experience working in public education or job and career readiness programs, five years preferred.
  • Three years of teaching experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in budget management, procurement, or contract supervision.
  • Preferred experience with state reporting, inventory processes, and audit reviews.
  • Preferred experience providing professional development to teachers and administrators.
  • Knowledge of CTE programs, Computer Science, or Technology programs.
  • Preferred knowledge of Excel, K12 Buy, Oracle, and data analysis software.
