Description

The Local Digital Marketing Specialist 2 is responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content across K12's public, private, and institutional marketing partners' digital assets in order to achieve business goals. The Specialist collaborates on relevant content development and is responsible for executing content publishing to raise brand awareness. The Specialist is responsible for monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify optimization and conversion opportunities and to ensure all marketing content initiatives drive customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience.

• Establishes and works to improve overall web and brand presence for K12's public, private, and institutional school partners; • Oversees management of all local digital channels (including updates, design, and user experience); • Collaborates with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style, and layout; • Publishes engaging content; • Liaises with Marketing strategy and business line stakeholders to ensure brand consistency; • Optimizes content according to SEO; • Develops and monitors ROI and KPIs to analyze website traffic and user's engagement metrics; • Designs digital media campaigns according to business goals; • Suggests strategies and methods for improvement; • Ensures content is effectively distributed to online channels and aligns with social media strategies; • Ensures compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection); • Stays up-to-date with developments and generates new ideas to draw audience's attention; • Provides customer service by answering questions and concerns when necessary.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in related field of study AND
• Two (2) years of experience working in digital marketing at an agency or corporate environment OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Hands on experience with MS Office and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
• Knowledge of web design, web traffic metrics, and SEO
• Experience with content management
• Digital content writing and editing
• Strong communication, project and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel
• Ability to pass required background check
