Designs and implements strategies to establish and maintain the highest level of quality for Third Party Billing data.

Essential Functions • Designs strategic solutions and implements processes to perform data cleaning on Third Party Billing transactional tables.
  • Develops strategic solutions and implements processes to reduce data and billing errors.
  • Designs and implements a uniform Medicaid claims re-billing process to include assessment of denied and paid claims, correction or archival of claims, and resubmission of claims.
  • Maintains TPB Medical Assistance databases.
  • Maintains SAS servers and services as requested.
  • Participates in Data Sharing processes with Maryland State Department of Education, Maryland Department of Human Resources, and Maryland Department of Health.
  • Understands and complies with HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintains and enhances existing applications and reports using appropriate tools and technologies including SAS, SQL, and Microsoft Office Products.
  • Identifies application or system issues improving availability and performance.
  • Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
  • Understands, respects, and nurtures the relationships between agencies with which TPB interacts: Maryland Department of Health, Maryland State Department of Education, Maryland Department of Human Resources, Baltimore City Health Department, Office of Legislative Audits and Office of the Inspector General.
  • Understands, respects and effectively communicates with other City Schools' departments at all levels within the organization.
  • Performs and promotes all activities in compliance with equal employment and nondiscrimination policies; follows federal laws, state laws, school board policies, and the professional standards.

Minimum Salary 65908.00
Desired Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or closely related field. Degrees must be from an accredited college or institution.
• Three years' experience with SAS BI Enterprise software preferred.
• Six years' experience with SQL and Database Systems
• Strong communication skills.
