Min-Mid Annual Salary Range: $40,989 - $57,654

RESPONSIBILITIES

SUMMARY: Provide leadership in developing and implementing mental health departmental practices, policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Demonstrate expertise with Functional Behavioral Analysis, Positive Behavior Support plans, social/emotional learning and mental health needs of children and youth.

Provide guidance and feedback to staff regarding appropriate assessment and school based mental health services, including our role within the MTSS and IEP processes using knowledge of best practices, professional ethics, federal and state policies and procedures.

Work collaboratively with principals, special education leadership, school staff, community groups and organizations and assure positive outcomes for all learners.

Plan and coordinate mental health discipline meetings, with a focus on professional learning.

Plan and participate in departmental professional learning.

Provide guidance and support to staff regarding departmental assessment materials including their administration, scoring, interpretation, computer scoring software and report writing. Review the district's assessment tools to determine inventory and purchasing needs to ensure high quality and current evaluations.

Consult with staff, school personnel and families regarding individual cases. Potentially provide additional student assessment as needed. Support staff at meetings regarding individual cases.

Collect staff data on caseloads/workloads and create appropriate data reports.

Organize and oversee departmental committees and interns related to school psychologist/school social workers.

Support staff in utilizing Enrich, Infinite Campus, and ezEdMed as they relate to services.

Participate on district resource teams and other work committees as appropriate.

Other duties as assigned.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS: Master degree, EdS or doctorate in the field of School Psychology. Licensure with Colorado Department of Education. Valid Colorado Driver's License and appropriate insurance.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a school based mental health provider.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EQUIPMENT: Strong communication and relationship skills, including facilitating problem-solving meetings and managing conflict. Excellent computer and technology skills.
