Requirements:
Meets Elementary Education certification requirements of the Department of Education, State of Iowa; Reading and/or Math Endorsement preferred; prior successful teaching experiences preferred; evidence of contributions to a professional learning community and team; evidence of effective teaching as demonstrated in student data/evidence; history of excellent attendance in prior work settings; good communicator with staff, students, and families; problem-solving skills, solutions-focused paradigm; supportive, with the belief of "whatever it takes" for students to be successful; culturally responsive paradigms and practices; ability to understand and use data to inform instructional decisions that will impact student success; ability to work in a collaborative environment (both team and building) to plan, prepare, analyze student evidence for adjusted instruction; actively engage in professional growth at an individual, building, and district level; demonstrates competence in building relationships with students; has a belief that ALL students can learn and are capable.
