Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor - Keene Community Education - To begin in the fall of 2019.
The job of Plumbing Apprentice Classroom Instructor was created for the purpose of training/educating apprentices in specified level using effective planning, preparation and organization for each class; creating a classroom environment conducive to learning where students are motivated to achieve; using formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress, provide regular, effective feedback and measure student competencies based on instruction; and effectively organize, develop and deploy information using provided curriculum, resources, and materials.
Employment is based on a yearly contract of 156 class hours. The school year range late August through April/May depending on snow days, vacation days, and holidays of the host district. Additional instructor meetings are mandatory at the beginning and end of the school year.
The pay rate begins at $40.00 per hour.

- Journeyman Plumber's LicenseThree years' field experience through current or previous employment in the plumbing trade.Master Plumber's License or a Baccalaureate Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of ten years' experience in the plumbing trade preferred. OSHA trainer certification also preferred.
