Chief Financial Officer

A dedicated, creative, team player with a strong work ethic and sense of humor is sought to serve as the Chief Financial Officer for the Rutland City Public Schools, a K-12 District in Central Vermont serving 2000+ students and a staff of 500, with an annual budget of $54 million.

Responsibilities include financial planning and budgeting, debt services, capital fund and grants management, compensation and benefits administration, collective bargaining negotiations, construction and facilities planning, insurance and risk management, legal controls, food service, pension fund management, legislative and public communications. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Accounting or Finance (Master's Degree preferred) and 15 years’ experience in a financial capacity.
