Qualified candidates must pass NYS background clearance and have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education or related field.
Master's Degree in Art Education and NYS Teaching Certification are preferred. Previous experience is a plus.

- Teach content and skills in designated subject areas utilizing approved curricula
- Provide lessons for individualized and/or group instruction congruent with the course
- Administer, score, record and report the results of assessments for student progress
- Communicate regularly with parents and school administration regarding student progress
- Maintain standards of student behavior for an orderly classroom environment
- Support positive school culture and maintain professional demeanor
- Perform additional duties as assigned to promote positive school culture
