    Role Summary Requirements and Responsibilities The IT Architecture Manager, reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, will provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership and management to a group of infrastructure systems engineers. The IT Infrastructure manager will require excellent stakeholder management skills and must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. The candidate must have experience leading highly skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on quality service delivery.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Training: BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
    Experience: 6-8+ years of progressive Infrastructure IT experience. Server, Application, or Network Certifications preferred.

    SPECIAL SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES, AND EXPERIENCE
    • Server Administration, Windows and Linux, Virtualization, VMware
    • Active Directory and Group Policy
    • System/Data backup and restoration
    • Desktop and Helpdesk Support including mobile devices
    • Working with ticketing systems, automatic monitoring, software distribution
    • Network protocols, routing, WAN optimization
    • VPN, certificates, electronic signatures, scripting
    • Managing different kinds of IT requirements and controlling third party suppliers
    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
    This position will have the following job responsibilities:
    • Manage the IT infrastructure resources and personnel.
    • Support the shaping of the CPS IT environment: PCs, Systems, Network, Security, and Platform Architecture.
    • Lead a team responsible to manage, integrate, upgrade, and improve the IT infrastructure
    • Manage and execute multiple local and remote IT projects, including outside vendors management
    • Maintain documentation, manuals, knowledge base, lower tier support training
    • Lead the design, specification, configuration, installation and maintenance of the core infrastructure Data Center, server and storage architecture, and Directory Services management.
    • Research and recommend purchases of hardware and services and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
    • Monitor system health/availability.
    • Ensure the strategy and technology roadmaps are in place and reviewed regularly with the Director of Infrastructure.
    • Manage workload on a day-to-day basis, assigning resources to tasks as appropriate and ensuring suitable levels of service and support coverage.
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Type of Contract: Limited - 261 day
    Salary: Manager I - Per CAAS agreement
