    Role Summary Requirements and Responsibilities The Junior System Engineer reporting to the IT Architect Manager, is responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. Participate in technical research and development to enable supportability and innovation within the infrastructure. Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, and software systems adhere to the organizational policies and remain functional for end user services.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Training: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline.
    Experience: 4+ years of desk side/system support and administration experience.

    • Ability to work efficiently without supervision
    • Good at managing, prioritizing and multitasking
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and time/task management skills are require

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
    This position will have the following job responsibilities:
    • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc
    • Perform daily system monitoring
    • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures
    • Upgrade and configure system software that supports the infrastructure applications
    • Act as primary point of escalation for all lower support level escalations
    • Strong knowledge of patching and updating tools such as SCCM
    • Provide workstation, laptop, and printer hardware and software support/troubleshooting
    • Work with a team of Senior System and Network Engineers to develop knowledge and skills
    • Communicate with technical and non-technical people and develop and maintain collaborative relationships among all levels of the organization
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    EMPLOYMENT PROVISIONS
    Type of Contract: Limited - 261 day
    Salary: Specialist - Per CAAS agreement
