Special Education Teacher - Bridges Program - Keene Middle School - To begin in the 2019-2020 school year.
The Bridges Program services emotionally handicapped middle school students, Grades 6, 7, and 8. The program can be mostly self-contained or mostly included in the regular program with support, depending on the needs of the student. Counseling is part of the regular program. The successful candidate needs to be certified or Alternative IV eligible in general special education. The candidate should be highly qualified to teach an academic area, preferably Science, English, and/or Reading.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits, including enrollment in the NH Retirement System.
