Implementation Specialist - Contractor

The Implementation Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate and complete deployment of K12 and third-party courses on multiple learning management systems for multiple K12 business lines.
AS AN IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST, YOU WILL..

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

• Sets up and configures K12 content publishes across Learning Management Systems following K12 best practices and requirements
• Implements hands-on additions, deletions, and changes of courses to allow successful delivery as defined by the K12 production teams.
• Modifies courses as approved to meet the needs of a specific business line
• Serves as a production support escalation point for teacher/student feedback problems with courses
• Performs QA of own work and team members work

Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications

• College degree preferred AND
• 1 to 3 years of related experience OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

OTHER REQUIRED Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and establish priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high levels of quality and productivity.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of a variety of Learning Management Systems., including but not limited to Blackboard, D2L, Canvas, and Schoology
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a changing work environment independently and as part of a small team.
• Knowledge and/or have experience working with html.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
• Ability to pass required background check

This is an office-based position. The noise level in the office is usually moderate (computers, printers, light foot traffic).

This is a home-based position if employee is located outside of DC Metro area.
