We are looking for an Indiana State licensed teacher to help us open our Private Kindergarten! The perks of our Private Kindergarten are the lower classroom ratios, the wonderful relationships with the parents and other staff, and the ability to still work a regular school schedule!

Position Details:
· The salary for the Private Kindergarten Teacher position is intended to be paid out over a 12-month time period; the position requires the teacher to teach 39 weeks in addition to attending all school related activities including, but not limited to, staff meetings, open houses, graduation, special events, parent conferences and professional development day

· The program is ran modeling the public schools calendar because we follow the school calendar the teacher is paid for the following holiday breaks: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Winter Break (10 days), New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day is a working PDD training Day, Spring Break (5 days),and Memorial Day (Retrieve a copy of the school calendar and attach it to the offer letter)

· The hours the teacher works is an 8-hour day which would be outlined in the offer letter, i.e. 8-4 or 8-5 with a 1 hour break, etc.

· The teacher is required to work in the Kindergarten Classroom one (1) week prior to the start of the school year and one (1) week following the end of the school year

· The teacher only works during the school year; during the summer the teacher has an option to work, but the compensation department must be notified if the teacher works. The teacher will receive an hourly rate during the summer and still receive their Private K teacher pay since their pay is paid out over a 12-month period.
