WORK SCHEDULE:

Program Duration: July 1st- August 1st, 2019 from 8:00am - 1:45 pm

Orientation day: June 12, 2019 from 4:00pm-5:00pm

Classroom Set Up: June 26th or 27th, 2019. Must commit to two hours anytime between 9:00 and 3:00. Exact day will be chosen with Principal once location is determined.

DUTIES:

1. Responsible to the ELL Director and program coordinator

2. Daily lesson planning.

3. Thematic planning approach.

4. Help students build and enhance literacy skills through music instruction.

5. Collaboratively and individually plan, write and implement music lessons that support program goals, and are standards-based.

6. Breakfast and Lunch duty in cafeteria with assigned class.

7. Afternoon Bus Duty.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Preference given to certified Music teachers in the Springfield Public Schools

2. Has working knowledge of the goals and requirements in the MA Arts Curriculum Frameworks
