Marketing Programs Manager

Marketing Programs Manager You are a Marketing Programs Manager that will play a vital role in developing , driving and executing on marketing programs that meet both demand generation and customer retention marketing objectives at NWEA . You have a proven track record managing marketing campaigns, both large and small . You understand internal and market drivers and work cross functionally to lead, develop and ensure delivery on , campaigns and program deliverables, all while communicat ing progress to both marketing and sales teams . You are data driven in your approach and are curious to understand the complexities of the market to create targeted and effective marketing programs and drive positive results through campaign efforts .

Your Next Challenge...
  • Plan, develop , and drive demand generation and partner retention marketing programs and campaigns that align and deliver on marketing and sales goals for NWEA
  • Work cross functionally with product marketing, marketing ops, digital marketing, creative, brand and sales and to develop programs based on market needs and then activate the team to manage and execute program deliverables.
  • Develop strategic plans, content, and tools to address market needs and customer pain points
  • Manage the national advertising programs associated with industries and associations
  • Track results of programs, campaigns and tactics to determine ROI and impact against KPIs in partnership with project management, field marketing and marketing operations
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of marketing programs and suggest adjustments and optimization based on metrics and data
  • Surface and explore sales needs and feedback to the broader Marketing team to help refine initiatives, messaging and materials
  • Travel and support national and/or trade shows, Fusion user conference, or assessment events (typically 2 -3 x per year)
  • Inform content for webpages on NWEA.org

Your Traits for Success...
  • Strong ability to influence and drive consensus across teams, including digital and channel marketing , content, creative , brand , sales , among other function al teams
  • Experience in market analysis , market sizing and segmenting to drive targeted campaigns
  • Exceptional people and communication skills with the ability to communicate information clearly , concisely and ensures others are informed
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills needed to drive results . High attention to detail is important
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required. Marketo and Salesforce.com experience highly valued

Your Experience and Education ...
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field preferred.
  • 7 + years of marketing experience, focused on marketing programs to drive demand generation and customer retention
  • Demonstrated skills in partnering, supporting and collaborating with direct sales organizations
  • Experience in public relations, digital and email marketing, web strategy, design or event management is beneficial
  • Expert project management skills and ability to work on multiple , competing projects concurrently
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Experience in the field of education (K-12) preferred, but not required
