Superintendent of Schools

The Cairo-Durham Central School District Board of Education is seeking an outstanding Superintendent of Schools for this Pre-K - 12 district serving approximately 1,235 students.
Located in the Catskill Mountains of Greene County, Cairo-Durham C.S.D. is an easy commute from Albany and Poughkeepsie. The District has one Elementary School, a Middle/High School and a CTE program housed in our Durham facility. The School District is governed by a nine-member Board of Education and has a budget of $31,147,145. Prospective applicants should have evidence-based skilled experience in inclusive communication, community building and financial acumen. Superintendent must be a dynamic leader that engenders collaboration and is driven to motivate and mobilize faculty, students and parents to pursue a vision of academic excellence. Compensation: Competitive compensation is based upon experience and accomplishments as an educational leader. Minimum Qualifications: Possess valid NYS certification as School District Administrator/Leader. Application Process & Deadline:
