Qualifications - NYS Certification as School Psychologist

Experience working with At-Risk Youth. NYSED and OCFS fingerprint clearance required.

Job Description

o Works with students on an individual or group basis to meet IEP mandated counseling sessions
o Consults and collaborates with teachers, administrators, and residential staff
o Is available to faculty for feedback and strategies to assist youth in managing their emotions in the educational setting.
o Serves as a school representative on treatment teams
o Advises administrators, faculty, and agency representatives on matters of student behavior.
o Supports and participates in the CSE, PBIS and IST process
o Monitors and maintains documentation of counseling sessions on a weekly basis
o Attends staff, professional and interagency meetings.
o Assists with in-service training of school personnel.
o Trained in Child Abuse Mandated Reported. Trains staff on Child Abuse reporting.

Salary : Commensurate with experience
