Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a Post-Secondary/School Counselor for a long-term leave of absence for the 2019-2020 school year.

Description:
The post-secondary counselor works collaboratively with other members of the post-secondary counselor team to deliver components of the college/career counseling program at Stevenson High School. Specifically, the post-secondary counselor will:
**provide individualized college counseling services for junior students and their parents
**provide support for senior students with the college application process, including sharing feedback on college essays
**lead presentations for students and parents on a variety of college and career-related topics
The post-secondary counselor serves as a resource to students, parents, generalist counselors, faculty, staff, and administrators regarding post-secondary matters.

Qualifications:
Interested candidates for the post-secondary counselor role must have a professional educator license with a school counselor endorsement. Experience as a post-secondary counselor and/or high school generalist counselor with emphasis on college, career, and academic counseling is preferred. Candidates for this position must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
