  We are seeking a certified Biology teacher who will teach Science classes of various levels in an alternate setting within GHS. A second certification or experience in teaching chemistry (031) or general science (034) is desirable. Effective use of computer and technology to support instruction and personalized student learning is required. The teacher should be well-trained in the implementation of the NGSS Standards with rigor, purpose, and planning to meet individual student learning needs.
Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with other team members to complete the lesson plan as well as improve the instructional program for students
  
• Attend all department meetings and professional development activities
  
• Other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator/ House Administrator
  

Work Year and Compensation
Work year is 187 days, salary based on appropriate GEA salary.
Qualifications

• Graduated from Accredited University
  
• Biology CT Certification is required (030)
  
• Strong communication skills orally and in writing
