Job Description:

Camelot Education is a nationally recognized organization providing educational services to children and adolescents throughout the United States. We are currently hiring a Staff Recruiter to support our Therapeutic Day Schools in Illinois.

Essential Function:
The Staff Recruiter is responsible performing searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria using networking, internet recruiting resources, media and employee referrals.
Ensures recruiting sources are managed to budget.
Screens and refers applicant to hiring managers in the organization.
The position will also be responsible to ensure that the organization's hiring practices are applied consistently, and in compliance with applicable employment legislation and regulations.


Deliverables:
Develops and manages creation and deployment of candidate sourcing tactics/strategy for the organization, and creates a method for execution utilizing the HR and Campus teams as needed.
Partners with HR and Campus Leaders to source and hire candidates for all open positions.
Updates and maintains company's Applicant Tracking System for selected positions.
Coaches and advises the operations team on negotiations with candidates to maximize offer acceptance and appropriate salary range positioning.
Manages talent programs such as; military recruitment, colleges & universities, and social media.
Responsible for onboarding initiatives to ensure successful induction for new-hires into Camelot.
Develops relationships with key vendors and external partners including agencies.
Collects and monitors key performance metrics for recruitment across the organization.
Develops and implements recruiting and interview training for the operations team.
Manages recruitment tools and processes that are customer-focused, efficient and cost-effective.
Develop the Camelot corporate recruiting brand identity in collaboration with Marketing Department.
Supports the company's Affirmative Action Plan through effective outreach initiatives in communities and affiliation groups to strengthen minority, female, veteran and disabled candidate pools

Experience and Skills:

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a Business related field (e.g. Business Management, Communications) or an appropriate subject area
  • Must have excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of end-to-end recruitment life cycle processes
  • 4-6 years of Human Resources or Recruiting experience, and/or equivalent education required
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Must have technical skills & capabilities, knowledge of applicant tracking technology & HRIS technology, and general Microsoft applications.
  • Must be familiar with current recruiting techniques such as the use of social media, as well as other methods.
  • Experience building and delivering trainings
  • Understanding of HR practices/principles and applicable Federal and State legal regulations as they relate to the sourcing and recruitment process, especially equal employment opportunity (EEO), affirmative action (AA) guidelines, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • Experience managing multiple internal client groups at one time
  • Experience in the educational arena preferred but not required
  • Ability to complete job functions with minimal supervision
  • Position will require approximately 20-40% in-state travel
