Edvectus recruits qualified/certified Primary, Elementary, Secondary, Middle and High School teachers from the following countries;
USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa.
Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree and teaching qualification such as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Masters in Education or Bachelors of Education. Our jobs are not teaching English as a Foreign Language, and a TEFL certificate alone is not sufficient teacher training.
It is a happy school that is ambitious and keen to build on its current strengths, enjoying a wonderful family atmosphere in which many teachers have developed professionally under the strong and supportive guidance of the current headteacher. The school will cater for children up to Grade 11 but it will eventually offer the full K-Grade 12 educational experience.
It is essential that interested applicants have the relevant teaching qualifications and though American experience is preferred other backgrounds will be considered. There is an 80% Arabic and most students speak English as a second language so good skills of differentiation and cultural sensitivity are additional essential prerequisites.
Applicants must have a commitment to excellence as a classroom teacher and be committed to the principles of 21st Century learning. They should demonstrate contemporary teaching methods and be competent in integrating technology into the curriculum. Experience with Web 2.0 applications is an asset. The school is looking for teachers that are able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community. They should have all required documentation to allow for ADEK approval.
The school is committed to the safeguarding of all its students and, therefore, this post is subject to all relevant background checks before appointment.
