We're looking for School Psychologists for the 2019-20 school year! Our network is seeking great School Psychologists to help our students with special needs climb the mountain to college. Our child stud team members are dynamic leaders in our school communities. They love students, families and the community they serve. They are also willing to do whatever it takes to make sure their students learn and achieve.

Here's what you'll be doing:
Joining one of our schools as a school psychologist comes with a lot of growth opportunities, but with great power comes great responsibility. Here are a few for this position:
 
  • Serve on the child study team responsible for the identification, evaluation, determination of eligibility and review of the individualized education program and placement of classified scholars
  • Administer, score and evaluate standard psychological tests for the purpose of assessing the intellectual, educational, emotional, social and behavioral characteristics of referred and classified scholars
  • Consult on the educational needs of classified students
  • Interpret school psychological testing to school staff and scholar guardians
  • Collaborate with other specialists and agencies in the implementation of classified scholar programs in the school and the community
  • Serves as primary case manager for classified scholars and maintains appropriate case records
  • Coordinates the development, monitoring, and evaluation of individual education plan
  • Coordinates annual reviews and the reevaluation processes
  • Collaborates to provide needed staff professional development
  • Collaborates with the Director of Behavioral Health to monitor the implementation of behavior implementation plans
 
Must Haves
  • Master's Degree in School Psychology
  • NJ School Psychologist Certificate
  • Solutions oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Student Focus: Belief that all students, regardless of background, have the ability to go to and through college; demonstrated commitment to the school's unique community
 
Nice to Have
  • Experience creating Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
