   License and Certification Qualifications: None required.

Education Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications: Four years of work experience in a training environment required.

Skills Qualifications: Ability to plan and deliver training classes and activities; ability to communicate with others in an effective and tactful manner; strong organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple projects concurrently by established deadlines; ability to work as part of a team while being flexible and adaptable to change; ability to analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement; strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office programs; willingness to learn new software programs and other processes efficiently; and the ability to represent Gwinnett County Public Schools in a positive and professional manner.

Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of technology training for all Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) staff and related district initiatives.

1. Deliver effective training that achieves the learning goals and objectives of the desired learner outcome.
a. Modify instruction based on the learner's ability and needs while still achieving the learning objectives of the class.
b. Evaluate the effectiveness of all classes toward the achievement of learning goals and modify training as needed based on results.
c. Maintain an overall satisfactory rating on all class evaluations.
d. Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
e. Research and recommend emerging technologies and innovative tools for teaching and learning.

2. Plan and develop materials and resources tailored to the audience and the learning objectives of the class.
a. Create manuals, tip sheets, documentation, and other training materials that will lead to mastery of the desired class goals and objectives.
b. Ensure training materials contain the most current information.
c. Assist in the procurement of software, supplies, and printed documentation needed for technology training.

3. Assist with the management of computer labs.
a. Ensure the classroom/laboratory facility is left in a clean and orderly manner upon conclusion of scheduled session.
b. Conduct initial troubleshooting measures on equipment and promptly label and report all equipment in need of repair to supervisor.

4. Provide outstanding customer service.
a. Interact with learners in a courteous, professional, and positive manner.
b. Have an attitude of enthusiasm and willingness to cooperate and collaborate in working with colleagues regarding training and documentation needs.
c. Display a professional demeanor and exhibit good work ethic.

5. Provide departmental support.
a. Assist with registrar duties.
b. Assist instructors in other departments who deliver training specific to their area.

6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
