    Director of Financial Reporting & Transparency

    Reports to Assistant Treasurer
    Training: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
    Certification: CPA or Treasurer's license preferred (or the ability to obtain one)
    Experience: 5 - 10 years of experience of financial analysis reporting and management

    Job duties:
    • Develop, analyze and publish monthly and annually financial reports for all funds.
    • Direct the development and publishing of weekly cash flow analysis
    • Analyze spending trends through the use of querying tools and report writers and alert management of areas of concern
    • Direct the development of the Comprehensive Annual Financial report
    • Direct the collection of information for the annual financial audit and act as liaison with the audit firm
    • Develop a reporting process for improved revenue reporting and monitoring
    • Direct and evaluate assigned staff
    • Manage and lead publishing and data transfers to financial dashboard
    • Develop Key Performance Indicators for each work team and create a dashboard to monitor and report progress
    • Direct the development and reporting of ROI calculations and procedures
    • Prepare and publish Debt and Investment reports
    • Direct the development of the Annual Tax Budget filing
    • Direct Annual Continuing Disclosure requirements
    • Direct Capital Asset processes and procedures and reporting
    • Participate in the development of the Five Year Forecasts
    • Direct the preparation of Ad-Hoc reports
    • Act as liaison with CPS EMIS department for financial reporting
    • Act as liaison for Bond Reporting requirements
    • Direct and monitor state report card indicators related to financial parameters
    • Attend and present financial information to monthly Board Finance committee and Audit Committee meetings
    • Other duties as assigned
