GENERAL SUMMARY
The Part-Time Data and Technology Coordinator will directly support the school by providing on the ground data and technological support for all staff members at Kennedy Middle School. The Data and Technology Coordinator will work to solve daily IT issues while at the same time partnering with the school and the district to push forward their data and tech initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the set-up and deployment of all staff and classroom technology equipment
Perform regular maintenance on staff laptops and classroom technology
Coordinate computer-based testing, including configuring and managing large-scale Chromebook deployments
Resolve requests for help on the various apps used by teachers, including Deanslist, Illuminate and other Student Information Systems
Oversee configuration of our student information systems and troubleshoot configuration challenges
Oversee the school's email system and perform regular maintenance as needed
Work to support improvements to and maintenance of the school's shared server system
Coordinate an up to date inventory of all technology hardware across the network as well as the ticketing and work order system
Liaise with district technology personnel as needed, especially on issues related to wireless performance and student computers or learning labs
Assist in providing training to teachers and staff
Support school leaders in developing and implementing long-term technology projects
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
Knowledge of Springfield Public School District
Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job
Ability to use (or learn to use) computer software and systems applicable to the position
Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data and prepare accurate records
Ability to maintain well-organized materials, files, systems and tools
Ability to adapt to changes in work situations and priorities
Ability to reason/analyze; use logic to identify and resolve problems
Ability to evaluate, organize, and summarize data and information
Ability to establish and maintain constructive and cooperative interpersonal relationships with staff, peers, supervisors, or managers in the work unit and other departments, as well as with staff of outside entities and other individuals, as applicable to the essential duties and responsibilities
