Program Dates 6/7-7/5Program Hours 8:15-12:45
Perform a variety of independent, specialized duties requiring excellent communication skills
Utilize specialized knowledge and independent judgment involving frequent and responsible public contact
Plan and provide occupational therapy services to eligible individuals
Prepare related evaluations and reports
Maintain related records
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to -
Possession of valid California credential authorizing service as a Language & Speech Therapist
Training and experience in the specific programs are required
Demonstrate ability to motivate at-risk youth
Knowledge of Assistive Technology
Please note that selected candidates will be assigned based on program needs. Selected candidates are expected to commit to the program for the duration of the assignment. Offer and continuation of employment is dependent upon level of student enrollment and attendance. Notice of employment will be sent to the selected candidates. Qualified personnel from within the district will be considered for placement. Should qualified personnel not be available, the district may accept candidates from outside the district. Per OEA contract Article 23.3.3.3, unit members will not be selected for more than two consecutive years. Should no qualified applicants apply, unit members may serve for more than two consecutive years.
