ELEMENTARY "SUMMER SCHOLARS" COUNSELORS

POSITION: Counselors for the elementary "Summer Scholars" program
SALARY: $11.10 per hour (30-40 hours/week)
DATES OF PROGRAM: July 8, 2019 - August 16, 2019 (6 weeks).
LOCATION: Windermere Boulevard Elementary School
Reports to: Director and Assistant Director of Summer Scholars Program
QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age - minimum
• Experience working with children
• High School Diploma
• Must be fingerprinted by the NYS Dept of Education before start date (see attached)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Supervision of students in the Summer Scholars program. Students will be grouped into clusters of 8-10 students that will travel with a Counselor. These clusters will rotate through academic and activity sessions throughout the day which will be led by a Program Leader.
