SECONDARY FEMALE SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER NEEDED IN KUWAIT FOR AUGUST 2019.

Location: Kuwait
Salary Range: KWD750-1080 tax free per month

Contract Length: 1 year

Candidates are required to have the following:
Curriculum Background: US preference
Minimum Experience: 2 year preference
Qualifications: Bachelor of Education/Social Studies (see below for more detail)

A long established independent co-educational US / bilingual curriculum school is seeking a range of educators for primary, secondary and managerial roles for the next academic year. KG and Elementary teachers need to have a Bachelors in Early Years or Elementary Education or a Bachelors Degree in a subject typically taught in a homeroom setting alongside a relevant graduate teaching diploma; secondary teachers need to have a first degree that matches their teaching subject plus a teaching component such a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education in Social Studies. Candidates need to know that this is not a typical western expatriate school; students are mainly local or Arab where English as a second language is spoken, Cultural intelligence is a must and an ability to adapt your local domestic curriculum experience to a local context will be very important.
