The position of School Psychologist is responsible for the administration of individual psychological tests and assessments pursuant to a referral by the multidisciplinary school based team. The students' ages range from 3 to 21 years old.

This job posting is not a component of the Internal School-Based Professional Transfer Season.

Salary Schedule For Psychologists (starting at $52, 700 per year)

Qualifications:
Required:
- Post Masters Certification in School Psychology (Ed.S. / C.A.G.S.) and Pennsylvania Certification as a School Psychologist (Educational Specialist I).

Essential Job Functions:
1. Administers, interprets, and reports psychological tests and assessments including individual tests of intelligence, achievement, and social, emotional, behavioral functioning across various settings

2. Assists the multidisciplinary team in the development of functional behavior assessments and behavior management plans, including school-wide behavior management plans.

3. Participates in the multidisciplinary team evaluation meetings and IEP meetings for students eligible or thought to be eligible for special education programs under the federal law.
4. Review and summarize student educational records for recommendations in accordance with PA chapters 14, 15, and 16 / IDEA / ADA child-find compliance in provision of free and appropriate public education.

5. Participation in the continuum of school psychological services including professional staff development, pre-referral consultation, counseling, psychological evaluations/re-evaluations, and consultation for Individualized Education Plans.

6. Participation in professional development and team-based problem solving for district-level initiatives including MTSS, PBIS, SAP, and other relevant systems-level data teams.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position is primarily sedentary in nature. Employee will be required to operate computer system for data entry, and have the ability to complete necessary paperwork. This position requires minimum physical effort and not subjected to Occupational Health and Safety risks.
