This is a brand new bilingual school opening in September 2019. They will open with about 300 pupils aged 6-18 years old (but have capacity for a maximum of 1728 pupils and a boarding capacity of 525). The programme is based on the Chinese K-12 curriculum blended with Western resources, pedagogy and philosophy. The school will have state of the art facilities.
They are looking for an effective Performing Arts (with music background plus Dance and Drama) professional who will effectively deliver the vision and ethos of the school in a bilingual environment with a blended curriculum. Applicants should demonstrate a passion for teaching Performing Arts across the Primary and Secondary age ranges and have a desire to teach the Julliard Creative Curriculum (JCC). Applicants should also be suitably qualified with a degree, a recognised teaching qualification and considerable teaching experience. Familiarity with a wide range of curricular including IPC, IMYC and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is an advantage. Experience of teaching students within a multilingual environment will be an advantage but not a prerequisite, a desire to teach in a multilingual environment is a must.
