Salary Range: $28.773- $34.890 an hour

Essential Functions and Objectives:

Work within the assigned program to provide services or education to identified student population (Gifted and Talented). Meet program goals and objectives. Ensure the program meets the needs of the clients, students or community they serve. Perform administration, reporting and program evaluation duties. Typically this position reports to a Program Manager.

-Assist in the development, administration and coordination of duties and services that result in successful achievement of program objectives

-Coordinate and collaborate with other departments, external families, community, agencies, etc. in the implementation and administration of the program

-P rovide superior service levels to program clients. Measure and report on service levels

-M onitor and ensure compliance of all regulatory and procedural requirements

-A ssist in the design and systemic resolution of problems, issues and follow-up efforts as needed related to assigned program

-A ct as a liaison and resource for families, agencies, employers, internal staff, other departments involved with the assigned program

-P rovide training resources and presentations to students, employees, assigned groups such as family members, community and business organizations

-A ssist with program evaluation and reporting requirements to assess the programs' effectiveness and outcomes

-P erform financial reporting duties and ensure program-related databases (i.e. costs, supplies, inventories, expenses) are accurately maintained

-P rovide linkage for program achievements and progress related to other DPS programs

-A ssist in the ordering of supply and services required as identified in the administration of the program

-P erform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

-Ability to follow program administrative policies, procedures and guidelines

-Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other departments, community groups, social services and government agencies in service-centered manner

-D etail oriented ability

-Ability to problem solve in a timely manner

-A bility to evaluate and report on district-wide programs, and provide recommendations for improvement

Education Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree and graduate work in Education, Business Administration, or assigned program area.

-T hree (3) years experience in related programs and previous client interaction typically associated with assigned program

-T hree (3) years operational/administrative experience in the assigned program area.

-P ossess effective communication ability including oral, written, reading and presentation skills.

-P roblem-solving skills and excellent customer service focus is required

-F ormer program reporting and evaluation experience required.
