Position Summary

This is a 3-month temporary position reporting into Partner Accounts Sales Operations. This position will primarily provide data entry services to support Partner Account opportunity data reconciliation in Salesforce.com. Additional duties may include data entry support for other Salesforce or related data system components, simple data auditing, reviewing, and updating adding or removing content from various sales systems based on pre-defined criteria assisting the Partner Accounts Training Manager in organizing training resources. Building managing or working off of data in Excel worksheets or similar lists and performing other light clerical duties as requested.

Responsibilities
  • Make direct updates to Salesforce.com opportunity records based on billing system transactions
  • Make direct updates to other Salesforce.com objects and fields based on pre-defined criteria (most updates will be transcriptions or transfers from external lists or other systems)
  • Run pre-defined reports in Salesforce as the basis for some of the first two responsibilities listed above
  • Execute manual Salesforce record adjustments based on running, reviewing and auditing exception data against external sources
  • Build, maintain, and/or process from other sources Excel worksheets for data management and updating purposes
  • Post and update content in Microsoft SharePoint, Learning Management or other systems.
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency with Salesforce. Must have at least one year of experience as an active (i.e., not read-only or query-only) user, including creating or updating opportunity records
  • Intermediate Excel or database management skills, including use of pivot tables, data matching, and deduplication features.
  • Experience with other Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, and Word
  • Previous experience with SharePoint or similar (Google Drive) collaboration tools preferred
  • Great attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work
  • Understanding of basic concepts of accounting, in the area of billing and accounts receivable
  • Able to interpret billing information from a third-party billing system and represent in Salesforce in comparative fashion.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Excellent listening skills and a commitment to communicate clearly, completely, and in a timely manner
Education and Experience
  • Some college
  • 3-5 years related total experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Knowledge of Software-as-a-Service billing models a distinct plus
