This is a part time position / it is for this school year only
The State of NC requires that teachers work 120 days to receive actual credit towards their teaching credentials. For all Instructional positions hired AFTER December 5, 2018, the position will end as of June 12, 2019.
Bachelor's Degree in education with appropriate subject area. Must have North Carolina certification or credentials to attain NC certification. If you do not hold a NC teaching licensure, upload your official degree dated transcripts, test scores and out of state teaching license (if applicable) to the attachment page on your on line application.
Benefits include accrual of annual leave days, sick leave, personal days, etc.; North Carolina Retirement program (6% automatic deduction - pre-taxed). Part-time employees who work at least 20 hours but less than 30 hours are considered part-time and are able to receive major medical insurance by paying the total premium (employee and employer portion). The State does not pay a portion of the health premium for part-time employees.
