High School Principal

The College Community School District is seeking an experienced, energetic, creative and student-centered leader to serve as the next principal of Prairie High School.  College Community School District serves over 6200 students in the Cedar Rapids - Iowa City Corridor.  Prairie High School Serves 1,300 student in grades 10-12 and employs over 140 certified and classified staff.  Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Secondary Programs and Superintendent, the High School Principal will oversee and grow the instructional program with a focus on success for all students, including college/career readiness and preparedness to be active citizens and community members.  The successful candidate will display the highest levels of quality in his or her personal communication, confidentiality and ethical decision-making. Previous administrative experience is required.   The salary for this position will be a minimum of $127,000 with the final salary determined based on relevant experience.  The start date for this position will be July 1, 2019.  Please see the full job description for this position.
