RESPONSIBILITIES

PLA is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and scholar-centered leader to join our team. Our school leader will be responsible for setting the vision for school culture and academics. This position is responsible for implementing and evaluating the instructional program based on scholar needs and state guidelines. Our school leader will coordinate, supervise, and evaluate all staff; including implementing the PLA Coaching Cycle. Our principals lead with integrity and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to their work. In addition to providing instructional leadership, our school leader holds primary responsibility for the strategic implementation and management of all aspects of school performance and operations. PLA principals are data driven and results oriented and have a strong belief in all children's' ability to succeed.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's degree from accredited college or university
  • Indiana Administrator's License
  • Proven success as an instructional leader & past experience in a school leadership role
  • Strong belief in the learning potential of all scholars
  • Alignment and high belief in the PLA model
  • Evidence of substantial impact on student performance
  • Entrepreneurial, positive problem solver with the ability to see opportunity in challenges
  • Clear judgment, a mature interpersonal style and the ability to drive collaborative decision-making processes
