POSITION: Speech and Language Patholotist
LOCATION: Laramie Middle School
SALARY: $44,460 minimum; final salary depends upon education and experience
CONTRACT: 185-day contract
START DATE: August 2019
CLOSING DATE: March 29, 2019

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an endorsement as a Speech/Language Pathologist or candidates may hold licensure as a Speech Pathologist issued by the State of Wyoming. Candidates must have a Master's Degree.

Other qualifications include: experience working with middle school-age students; understanding and familiarity with Response to Intervention (RtI) systems; ability to work well with students with a wide range of abilities; organized; experience working with children with an array of disabilities; knowledge and integration of assistive technology; good written and oral communication skills; technology skills; knowledge of special education regulations regarding qualification and delivery of services; willingness to serve on school- and District-wide committees; ability to work well with teachers, parents, and students; flexible; high expectations for student achievement; high level of enthusiasm; and a team player. Desired candidate will have experience working as part of a student-centered professional learning community.
