PURPOSE OF JOB:
The elementary counselor is a member of the district's guidance function, charged with providing a comprehensive guidance program for students in grades K-6. The counselor develops program activities to meet the needs of students; consults with teachers, staff and parents to enhance program effectiveness and provides support to other elementary educational programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Missouri State Certification in Elementary School Counseling (K-8) or (K-12).
LENGTH OF WORK:
Summer School session June 6 through June 28, 2019 (dates subject to change)
Must be able to commit to the entire 4 weeks.
If you are resigning or retiring at the end of this school year you are not eligible to work summer school
