PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Requirements : EDUCATION: Associates Degree or higher OR 2 years of college credit (minimum of approved 60 semester hours, 90 quarter hours, 1000 clock hours) OR High School Diploma/GED AND passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment required
CERTIFICATION: Must obtain and maintain valid Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate
WORK EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience preferred.
Compensation : Salary Grade:114
Salary Range: FY'20 APS Salary Schedule (All Positions)

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides assistance to teachers with classroom organization, management and instructional strategies.
- Works individually with assigned students to ensure that each student benefits from the assignment or task. Uses learning tools, including computer-based training.
- Monitors students' movement through cafeteria lines. Assists the custodian with cleaning up the cafeteria
- Assists teachers with the preparation of boards and wall materials as it relates to daily lesson plan.
- Grades tests.
- Makes copies and prints materials for classes.
- Assists administrators and other staff members in the orderly, expedient and safe transition of students from classrooms to bus area.
- Administer and/or support the state and local standardized testing processes and policies.
- Assists with training volunteers.
