BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience
•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information management or related field.
•Master's degree preferred in related field.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired.
•Progressively responsible managerial, supervisory work experience (three years required; five years preferred).
•Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.

Required Licenses or Certifications
•Valid Driver License
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired.

Knowledge of:
•Functionality, maintenance, and implementation of information technology systems across multiple platforms and web browsers.
•Management of all phases of project management to include analysis of needs and resources, system implementation, testing processes, installation, maintenance, and post-production audits.
•Federal, state and local laws, policies and regulations, and procedures related to data collection and distribution for students and staff.
•Principles, practices, processes, and techniques involved in the analysis, design, development, implementation, integration, and documentation of computer software systems.
•Systems installation, configuration management, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•Proven working experience in project management.

•Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

BASIC FUNCTION/NATURE OF WORK:

The purpose of this temporary position is to provide coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects. The duration of this position is expected to be a two-year temporary assignment, with benefits. The location of this position will be at the Edward Kelly Leadership Center, located at 14715 Bristow Road, Manassas VA 20112.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES/ILLUSTRATIVE EX OF WORK:

•Work collaboratively with all stake holders in Providing A World-Class Education.
•Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
•Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
•Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
•Ensure resource availability and allocation.
•Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
•Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
•Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
•Report and escalate to management as needed.
•Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
•Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
•Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
•Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
•Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
•Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
•Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
•Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
•Use and continually develop leadership skills.
•Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
•Provide leadership for operational and administrative staff.
•Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
•Possess excellent interpersonal skills to manage a diverse support team.
•Collaborate with various departments, providing effective communication between users and shared decision-making.
•Complete other duties as assigned.
