Writer, Science - Contractor

This is an approximately 6-month contract for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
The Writer, Science will work with development teams members to write, modify, and review instructional activities and assessments in online Physics, Chemistry, and Physical Science courses. The Writer, Science will work directly in online platforms in a fast-paced environment. The Writer, Science will need to adhere to house style guidelines, including accessibility guidelines.

Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Secondary Education - Science (with a focus in Physics or Chemistry), or a related field AND
- Experience writing published curricular materials AND
- Experience teaching or tutoring the subject and grade level
- Stable broadband Internet access for creation and transmission of materials (if working from home)
- Ability to pass required background check
- Master's degree in related field
- Experience writing online curricular materials
- Experience with publishing tools such as content management systems or assessment authoring systems
- Five (5) years experience in conventional classroom teaching
