Title (AZVA) Staffing Coordinator

Description
SUMMARY: The Staffing Coordinator coordinates staffing, basic human resources and finance related functions for the school.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Oversees logistics of hiring new school employees by creating requisitions, screening applicants, negotiating offers of employment, and working with K12 Recruiting to move candidates through the hiring process;
• Oversees logistics of hiring contractors by submitting orders through staffing agency's Vendor Management System (VMS); Works closely with vendors to staff key events such as annual State -wide student testing locations; Communicates with prospective contractors, assists them with application process;
• Oversees onboarding new employees and contractors ensuring they receive important information, necessary materials, equipment and systems accesses;
• Submits school personnel changes, transfers and promotions as well as pay incentives, e.g. stipends, bonuses;
• Creates, maintains and monitors all records of fingerprint clearance cards, background checks, teacher certificates, resumes and highly qualified status, ensuring and demonstrating at audits that all staff meet the State and federal departments of education requirements to work in the school ;
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The below State ments are intended to help describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required; other duties may be assigned.
• Assists with the development and implementation of school level programs/policies;
• As needed, helps facilitate resolution of HR and payroll related processes, questions, and issues on behalf of school personnel;
• Maintains current AZVA staff list and organization chart;
• Enters and reviews background checks on all State testing volunteers through the Easy Backgrounds system.

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree OR
• Three (3) years related experience OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses: None required.
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to pass required background check
