DESCRIPTION:

Intermediate District 287 is hiring a Social Studies Teacher for the Northern Star Online Program. Northern Star Online (NSO) is a collaborative of 15 independent school districts and four educational service agencies created to further Minnesota's goal of promoting high quality online learning for students. This class is accountable for facilitating learning, academic achievement and personal development by providing instruction to children, adolescents and adults. Develops and implements curriculum and lesson plans. Utilizes technology to facilitate learning. Understands the varying learning styles and the needs of a diverse student population.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A current teaching license. Licensure and certification must relate directly to the instructional assignment.
