Anticipated Probationary Teacher Assistant Position

A valid NYS Teaching Certification is required. Qualifications include: Demonstrated ability to provide targeted instruction to academically at-risk students. Extensive knowledge of NYS CCLS in Math and ELA; Knowledge of and ability to implement strategies to address the needs of diverse learners; Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision making; Skilled at working with diverse student populations; Knowledge of PBIS and the ability to implement positive effective classroom management strategies; Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice; Interest in actively participating in the school community outside of the classroom.
