USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa.

Our jobs are not teaching English as a Foreign Language, and a TEFL certificate alone is not sufficient teacher training.

An independent, privately owned day school situated in Doha, Qatar is seeking a final few teachers for the current academic year. It is open to students aged 3 – 18 or Kindergarten to Year 12, and follows the National Curriculum for England and Wales. The school prepares students for the University of Cambridge International and EDEXCEL examinations (IGCSE at Year 11 & AS Level at Years 12). Students are all ESL learners either from the host country or neighbouring Arabic nations so a strong sense of cultural awareness and tolerance needs to be second nature. This is not a western expatriate school.

Although UK experience is preferred to reflect the curriculum of choice, the school management is very happy to consider an international diversity of applications. They want to invest in quality and commitment; adapting to a new curriculum will be supported by relevant professional development. Both new and experienced teachers are welcome to apply. Applicants can have any first degree but their teaching certificate / diploma must match their teaching age range or subject.
