SALARY:
Summer school food service workers who are APS employees during the year will be paid their hourly rate as of July 1, 2019 ($14.52 minimum). Non-APS summer school food service workers will be paid $14.52 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Car and valid driver's license.
- Experience in food service, cooking for large groups.
- Certification with safe commercial kitchen food handling practices.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
PROGRAM DATES:
- Session A: June 24 - June 28, 2019
- Session B: July 8 - July 12, 2019
- Session C: July 22 - July 26, 2019
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Purchase, order & receive, prepare, and serve all the food for 3 - week-long (M-F) sessions of summer camp, in June and July, at the Phoebe Hall Knipling Outdoor Lab's Summer Camp.
- Plan a menu, with the approval of the camp director, to provide healthy, varied, and economical meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and snacks.
- Supervise the Cook's Assistant.
- Communicate with staff and parents of campers with special dietary needs to accommodate those needs and to assure parents that those needs will be met.
- Clean and maintain a clean kitchen that meets health department standards.
- Itemize and submit receipts for food purchases on a weekly basis.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Experience with children from diverse backgrounds.
