ABOUT THE SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT
The Manning School of Academics and Arts is an Option Middle school serving students grades 6-8. All 675 of our students choose to enroll at Manning for its rigorous, college preparatory academics, its high behavioral expectations for all students, and its close partnerships with our supportive, engaged families. We boast a robust performing and visual arts program that fosters creativitiy and a commitment to excellence in the over 75% of our students who take part in these programs. We are proud to have received the John Irwin School of Excellence Award every year since our founding in 2001, and we are privileged serve an exceptional student body who work hard to grow both as students and as people. Because of them, we experience very little teacher and staff turnover, with much of our faculty having staid at Manning over 10 years.
