QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education: BA/BS from an accredited university/program, Accounting or related programs
2. Certifications: none required
3. Five (5) years of relevant work experience, with at least two (2) years supervisory level experience
4. Government Property Records experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and their application to a wide variety of transactions. Extensive knowledge of inventory systems, records and inventory valuation procedures. Ability ti apply an understanding of School Board accounting procedures, school finance laws, regulation and policies. Skilled in modern office management practices, procedures and computerized accounting including proficiency with PC software, especially complex spreadsheet applications. Ability to prepare complete and accurate accounting reports and statements of considerable complexity. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school personnel and the public. Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing. Bilingual/bi-literate preferred.
