    CONTRACT TERMS: One Hundred Sixty Five Days (165)
    Teacher Benefits Teacher Salary Schedule
    Salary Range: $36,800 - $76,500
    PEA Agreement Status: FSLA Exempt
    QUALIFICATIONS:

    REQUIRED:
    • Valid Colorado Teaching License within 60 days from date of hire
    • K-12 Endorsement
    • Bachelors Degree in Education
    • Ability to tutor students during designated hours, as assigned by Homebound Coordinator
    • Strong organization and communication skills

    PREFERRED:
    • Special Education Generalist and Elementary Education Endorsement or
    • Ability to tutor in areas of Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies
    • Previous teaching/tutoring experience
    • Demonstrated ability to work tactfully/cohesively with students, staff, administrators, and parents
    • Ability to work varied hours as program/students needs dictate
    • Ability to work with at-risk children and families - including students with disabilities

    General Description:
    • Provide intensive tutoring to students who are facing challenges that do not allow them to attend school for periods greater than two weeks.
    • Record and report academic student progress
    • Attend training sessions, as assigned or appropriate to keep abreast of current practices, programs and legal matters.
    • Possess an excellent work ethic/attitude and take ownership/responsibility for project completion
    • Maintain a positive, safe and functional learning environment
    • Work in collaboration with school, staff and school administration
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Coordinator
    • Maintain accurate record keeping of services
    • Be a consistent caring, flexible, understanding, and responsible role model
    • Be prepared to teach in varied settings
