Job Description:

The CBS Clinician provides individual and family therapy and counseling and case management services to youth and families enrolled in various CBS clinical programs, including but not limited to: the PINS Prevention Program, The Intensive Service Coordination Program, and the DOH Children and Family Treatment Services. The CBS Clinician completes necessary paperwork and reports, and maintains a positive relationship with the Departments of Social Services and The Department of Probation. This position will carry a caseload as needed. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing weekly therapy, both individual and family in home and at the office, assisting in initial intake assessments, providing needed preventive services to children, youth and families, facilitating weekly therapeutic groups, completing plans of care, progress notes, and case files, attending and participating in all relevant meetings including community based services meetings for children, youth and families, weekly staff meetings, supervision and case conferences (including specific case conferences at the Departments of Social Services and Probation), attending all required trainings and webinars, sharing on-call coverage, completing monthly billing paperwork, and other tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field with at least two years' clinical and case management experience with youth and families. Must maintain active approved agency driver status. Must hold or be eligible to receive and working towards receiving NYS license applicable to degree. Bilingual preferred.
