Vacancy: Calumet School District 132 is seeking an individual to fill a Bilingual School Secretary full-time position for the 2018-2019 school year.
Job Summary: Under general supervision of the Building Principal, carries major responsibilities in facilitating the work of the school office and serving the needs of the students, staff, community, and Building Principal.
Qualifications: Bilingual Speaking (Preferred), High School Diploma or equivalent required (college credit hours preferred). Candidates must be experienced in School Office procedures. Should possess a minimum 5 years successful secretarial experience (preferred). A proven record of excellent organizational, human relations and decision-making skills; ability to respond to oral and written directions; ability to work independently and efficiently; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The candidate must be computer literate and skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
Working Conditions: The work year for this position is 10 months. Salary is in accordance with the secretary salary schedule. The District offers excellent fringe benefits, including life, health and dental insurance.
